A Very Celilo Christmas

The month was December, and here inThe Dalles,

Holiday music was playing with the twinkling of bells.

Delicious Celilo Inn wines were being poured,

Complimentary tastings, now that we can afford!

The Mt. Hood Polar Express chugged on through,

The Columbia River Gorge, choo choo!

Celilo Inn’s Snuggle Up package was a guest favorite.

Bears, blankets and cozy rooms put them in the Holiday spirit.

Curled up next to a loved one with a cup of hot chocolate,

When it comes to this package guests can’t help but love all of it.

The Holidays are a time to be comfy and cozy,

Especially since The Dalles is a little bit snowy.

The Holidays can often be a very stressful time,

So the Celilo Inn Spa Package is a very good sign.

Once the stockings were hung and the tree was trimmed,

Nothing sounded better than a massage for her and him.

Dear Celilo Inn….

I would like to thank you for having such a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I came there toward the end of August and had a fabulous time there. The great view, wonderful rooms, and outstanding hospitality will ensure that we will return again.

I’d like to give a special thank you to Stephanie who made us feel so welcome when we first arrived. She was great and probably the reason that we stayed another day.

Rainiest Day in Portland, Sunny and Dry in The Dalles

We heard it was a soggy day over in Portland yesterday with a record breaking amount of rain in a one hour timeframe. Here in the Dalles we enjoyed our sunshine and relaxing small town pace of life. So if you are looking to take a Rain Break this weekend, come out and enjoy a stay at the Celilo Inn and tour one of our many vineyards and wine tasting rooms. You’ll feel better about returning to the city by Monday!

The Dalles is an up and coming town, just about 1.5 hours east of Portland, Oregon. We have a great variety of activities including over 30 wineries in the area, windsurfing, skiing, mountain biking, running trails near the Columbia River, Micro-breweries, and Historic Buildings.
