Rainiest Day in Portland, Sunny and Dry in The Dalles

We heard it was a soggy day over in Portland yesterday with a record breaking amount of rain in a one hour timeframe. Here in the Dalles we enjoyed our sunshine and relaxing small town pace of life. So if you are looking to take a Rain Break this weekend, come out and enjoy a stay at the Celilo Inn and tour one of our many vineyards and wine tasting rooms. You’ll feel better about returning to the city by Monday!

Welcome to the Celilo Inn Blog

We’ve added this blog so you can share infomation about the hotel and The Dalles, Oregon.
The Dalles is an up and coming town, just about 1.5 hours east of Portland, Oregon. We have a great variety of activities including over 30 wineries in the area, windsurfing, skiing, mountain biking, running trails near the Columbia River, Micro-breweries, and Historic Buildings. We invite you to stay at the Celilo Inn Hotel in the Dalles and ask us any questions about the area. Cheers!
